POPULATION: In 2004 there were around 1,600 wild pandas

THREATS: Due to the fact that the pandas rely on bamboo diet, this makes them vulnerable when the bamboo habitat is decreasing due to forest logging and increased needs of a groing population such as:
GEOGRAPHY: Once the panda was widespread throughout southern and eastern China, as well as neighbouring Burma and northern Vietnam…today pandas live in around 20 isolated habitats in south-west of China (Gansu, Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces).

HOW TO HELP THE PANDA?
